Who is ol-event.ch?

The portal was developed in spring 2020 and is now used for championships, nationals, Cloud O and other OL. The developer and operator is Supsign GmbH. A small developer company from Münchenstein, BL. The owner Fabrizo Cocco is himself an orienteer and member of the OLG Basel.

Why do I have to register?

Ol-events.ch wants to offer the organiser and the user a pleasant experience when registering for an orienteering event. To make this possible, it is necessary that we can store information such as your name, your e-mail address and your SOLV number in combination

Privacy

This is an important issue and we take it seriously. So our servers are located in Switzerland, in Zurich and Münchenstein to be precise. The data retrieved from the runners' database is not stored temporarily and is only saved when a runner registers for a race.
